Technical Project Manager (Job Code: 1005)

DUTIES:
Responsible for planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects; develop and update project plans for information technology projects including information project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing; work with stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements to define scope of projects; develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects; serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects; define requirements and successfully track projects through their respective life-cycles; monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met; work across multiple disciplines and industries building client knowledge and credibility quickly; utilize Shell script, PowerShell, Power CLI, Linux, Unix, Windows, VMWare, vSphere, vCenter, SaltStack, Smartsheet, MS Project, and MS Visio to perform duties; perform vendor or system selection and implementation; perform business and technical analysis and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems; coordination and gathering of project impact assessments from various groups within organization; and plan and lead projects for process or system improvements of information systems.

LOCATION: Bridgewater, NJ and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;

SALARY: $123,843 per year

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

Education: Bachelors – Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a VMWare Administrator, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Other Requirements: Experience must include five (5) years use of all the following: Shell script, PowerShell, Power CLI, Linux, Unix, Windows, VMWare, vSphere, vCenter, SaltStack, Smartsheet, MS Project, and MS Visio.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
